Casket Shells

When choosing casket shells, try to choose one that best signifies the person who is being buried. Because no two people are alike, there are many different varieties of shells from which people can choose.

This was evidenced not long ago when a high school tennis star made a flippant comment to her family that she would like to be buried in a pink casket. The family didn’t think much about the comment until a week later when she and her brother tragically died in a traffic accident.

Wanting to fulfill their daughter’s wish, the parents sought out a casket shell that was pink. Although this shell was not what one would typically see at a funeral, it certainly suited the occasion and allowed the family to grant the desire of their daughter.

In addition to being made in a variety of colors, these shells are also made in a variety of sizes. Just doing a quick check around you of the various sizes of people tells you that some caskets need to be shorter than normal, while others need to be longer than normal.

Likewise, there are some shells made a little wider than the typical casket. The good thing to know is that because there are so many different types of people and because these people have lived so many different types of lives, there is also a wide variety of caskets available for their final resting place.

Don’t fear you will not be able to find the right kind of casket shell for your beloved. In all likelihood, the exact fit already exists.
